Episode 39 | How To Make Your Content More Accessible with Anne Mok

In this episode, Hannah speaks with Anne Mok from Purpose In View.

Anne is a digital storyteller with a desire to inspire a barrier-free world, with a clear vision and purpose, to live to your full potential.

Anne shares her personal story and how she got started with Purpose In View. She became part of the visually impaired community through a shared belief that together they can support one another and help each of them thrive.

Anne’s number 1 top piece of advice for making your content more accessible is to include an image description.

You can easily do this through the Accessibility Settings when you’re posting your content and adding “alt text”.

Screen readers can pick up the descriptions, making your content more accessible (and as a bonus, boosting your SEO).
