Hey there! I'm Hannah, mom of two (plus a furbaby), lover of desserts, marketing maven and Neuro-spicy Solopreneur!

Thanks to a pandemic-induced layoff, I found myself launching a Virtual Assistant business in 2020. As someone who remembers when the Nokia 3310 was THE cell phone to have, when owning a Neopet was all the rage and the Millennium Bug was a legit fear - building a client list entirely online was needless to say a challenge.

I not only survived the early hustle to secure clients, but went on to hone my marketing skills with further training. Looking back, however, if I had the chance to do it all over again, I would have started differently.

As a person with Dyslexia, I've never been happy with the term "learning difficulty". Learning something new has never been my issue—just as long as I can learn it in my own special way. My experiences help me realize there had to be a more accessible way to master online marketing.

So (along with my former co-host), I embarked on a mission to demystify marketing for mature solopreneurs. Showing Up Solo is committed to providing valuable, easy-to-understand resources that empower solopreneurs to navigate the world of online marketing confidently.
