The Chic Summit 2024: A Tapestry of Connection and Empowerment

Curated by Amy Nicole Cohen, the Chic Summit held in the breathtaking Okanagan Valley was an event like no other! This wasn't just any leadership conference. It was a melting pot of inspiration, empowerment, and, most importantly, connections that redefined what it means to come together as women eager to make our mark.

Split between the scenic 50th Parallel Estate by day and the luxurious Delta Grand by Marriott at night, over 200 of us gathered, each with our own dreams, ready to soak in the wisdom of speakers like Aaron Volpatti and Dr. Lesley Lutes. We delved deep into topics that hit close to home – from mastering the art of public speaking to the secrets of dodging burnout like a pro. But here's the kicker: the real magic happened in the in-between moments, where every handshake introduced a new story, and every smile opened a door to endless possibilities.

Oh, and did I mention the goodies? Thanks to the generous hearts of amazing sponsors like Billion Dollar Beauty and ATB Wealth, we were all pampered with gifts worth over $1,000! And as the sun dipped below the horizon, the Summit by Night turned the Delta Grand by Marriott into a hub of laughter, music, and networking. DJ Vie spun the decks while we sipped on Iconic Wines, proving once again that when women come together, incredible things happen.

Here’s where it gets personal – armed with my own rule of "never sitting next to someone I already know," I embarked on a mission to turn strangers into friends (and maybe even clients!). And guess what? It worked wonders. Not only did I leave with a bunch of new contacts, but I also discovered that beneath my super shy exterior lies a networking ninja. Who knew?

During my workshop, "Amplify Your Online Presence," I unraveled the mysteries of digital marketing for attendees, exploring how social media, websites, and email marketing blend seamlessly to create an unforgettable sales journey. The energy was electric, the feedback fantastic, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to share my passion with such an engaged audience.

Reflecting on the summit, I'm filled to the brim with gratitude. For the connections, the laughter, the learning, and the sheer joy of being part of something so powerful.
